Perso je recherche un STUDIO SEQUENCER Gratuit pour composer de la musique et enregistrer en multipistes
J'ai pas trouvé dans cette liste pourtant exhaustive  
Je vais peaufiner au fur et à mesure la liste. C 'est un début !

un grand bravo a toi pour ce post.
tu as réussi a me faire découvrir 2 ou 3 logiciels qui était pasé a travers les maille de mon filet et je t'en remercie.  
à rajouter dans la liste:

SMPlayer en alternative à VLC.
basé sur MPlayer (donc la plupart des codecs sont déjà inclus, sinon on peut télécharger le pack qui fournit les autres) Dispo sous Windows et Linux. Meilleure gestion des sous-titres que VLC (c'est pas dur )Interface en français, très simple. Que du bon ! 
Trés bonne liste des essentiels !
Juste un bémol pour moi, il manque Antivir dans la partie sécurité, quitte à le mettre à la place d'Avast. [message édité par AlfX le 21/04/2008 à 12:03

Non il y a bien une version entièrement gratuite, et une version Premium payante(en promo en ce moment,6 mois gratuit,voir ici )

 Sympa la liste  Mais pour Firefox, c'est vers une version Beta !
