Wrestlemania 21 sets out to be a good wrestling game, but just ends in frustration. The moves are either impossible to master, or just don't react when you want them to. The odd time you do get what you want you find that the hit detection system doesn't work. This is particularly obvious when you are performing a drop move on an opponent who is on the canvas. As you try to “body slam” them, there is a 50/50 chance you'll miss and then spend the next 10 seconds withering around on the floor while they get up and pummel you into submission. If you like being frustrated sign up. If however, and we suspect you do, want to play a game that doesn't involve you having to wrestle your dog to vent your anger afterwards, leave this one on the shelf for some other mug to pick up.
